Apparently the wine country of Germany is brimming with medical professionals who are also into making wine. I don’t know what the deal is with that, but my diagnosis is that this tasty little Riesling has a chronic case of delicious.
This is a Riesling that will put all of the memories of overly sugary, nasty cheap German Riesling behind you for good. A delicious summer sipper with refreshing acidity and a hint of sweetness, this is dangerously chuggable stuff (luckily the relatively low alcohol may keep you out of trouble). Notes of mouth watering green apple mingle with apricot, peach and outstanding minerality. It’s easy to see why wine publications such as Wine Spectator often herald this as one of Germany’s best values.
Enjoy this on it’s own on the patio or throw it down with some Chinese take-out for a ginger beefy good time.
